Thank you for visiting my collection of custom children's clothing and accessories. In May I’ll be celebrating five years since Little Pounds was established!
What a joy it has been to monogram and sew for precious little ones!
Monogramming is a timeless way to make any variety of belongings personal and special. You can change the character of any piece of clothing or accessory from elegant to whimsical just by your choice of monogramming style. The possibilities there alone are limitless. Then, you add choice of thread color, fabric design, ribbon, embellishments... This is why I love to monogram and sew!
My desire for Little Pounds is not to become just another generic monogramming business that mass produces multiple dresses, skirts, onesies, burp cloths, diaper covers like an assembly line where everything looks exactly the same except for the monogram. It’s perfectly fine if you would like for me to duplicate something already seen on my website. But, also keep in mind that I do enjoy NEW ideas: new fabric and ribbon combinations, new fonts, new styles… things that set apart any piece to make it unique to represent the one wearing it. In the same way that we decorate our homes to uniquely characterize the people who live there… the clothing and accessories that our children wear can represent their one-of-a-kind personalities as well.

Please note that you are not limited to the fabric and ribbon seen throughout this website. I’m always looking for excuses to buy more fabric and ribbon! (Have you seen Sarah Jane’s collection of “Children at Play” fabrics? So incredibly cute!)
